Our scientific team has developed the largest range of petroleum jellies in the world. More than 50 standard references from “classic” grades to melting emollients that spread easily and add a soft comfortable feeling.
Attentive to our customers, our teams innovate and create new textures: tailor-made petroleum vaselines, a range of transparent gelling agents (Transgels), waxes for special applications, natural alternative products of plant origin with Naturelyn and Naturelyn 500 B, certified by Cosmos-Ecocert.

The purest range of Codex petroleum products in the world
Petroleum jelly purity is defined by pharmacopoeias. In 2003, European national pharmacopoeias were standardised. But the requirement level of the French Codex Pharmacopoeia is considerably higher than the current European Pharmacopoeia.
The Codex vaselines manufactured by Aiglon maintain this level of quality. The results of the current tests are clearly above the standards in force (US Pharmacopoeia, European Pharmacopoeia...)
The only petroleum jelly manufacturer certified European GMP Part II
The EuropeanGMP Part IIcertification is the only regulatory reference that can be used during inspections of pharmaceutical establishments by their supervisory authorities.
Other “good manufacturing practice” alternative references, created by membership organisations, are much less restrictive and do not give the right to sell petroleum jellies as API’s.
Quality criteria Our certifications
In France, the supervisory authority is the ANSM (Agence Nationale de Sécurité du Médicament et des Produits de Santé), formerly the AFSSAPS (Agence Française de Sécurité Sanitaire des Produits de Santé). It issues the GMP certificate and conducts regular inspections to validate the certification.
