Growing together, innovating sustainably: the Aiglon group, a long-standing manufacturer of natural and mineral ingredients for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, is opening a new chapter in its history alongside Trajan Capital, a partner member of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity.
For 125 years, Aiglon has been designing, manufacturing and marketing a range of high-purity ingredients, mostly tailor-made to meet the highest production and quality standards. The Group has positioned itself as a strategic supplier to over 200 loyal customers, pharmaceutical laboratories and international cosmetics brands for whom technical quality and high-level certifications (GMP pharma, ISO 9001 and 14001, Cosmos, Ecovadis) are essential.
An in-depth transformation starting in 2021
In recent years, rapid market changes, the emergence of new customer expectations and the transformation of the industrial landscape have led Aiglon to rethink its organization, priorities and growth levers. The Group has demonstrated its resilience and agility, consolidating its fundamentals, enriching its ranges, and asserting its determination to invest in innovation, particularly around natural ingredients.
Philippe Conti, at the helm of the Group since 2021, has undertaken an in-depth transformation to anticipate these changes. Today, with clear-sightedness and confidence, he has decided to hand over the operational reins to enable the Aiglon project to enter a new phase.
Grégoire Huet appointed President of the Aiglon Group
In view of market trends, the aim of this transfer is to consolidate the Group's assets while accelerating its growth. Philippe Conti remains a minority shareholder with a strong commitment to the project. He hands over the presidency to Grégoire Huet, an experienced entrepreneur in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
Philippe Conti: "The industrial world is changing fast. To keep the Aiglon spirit alive, we had to offer it new perspectives. In Trajan and Grégoire Huet, I found partners aligned with our values, our ambitions and our desire to anchor development in the long term."
Grégoire Huet has solid industrial experience and a keen sense of innovation. His mission will be to continue the Group's growth, drawing on its technical DNA, its customer culture and its ability to offer sustainable solutions to its partners.
Grégoire Huet, President of Groupe Aiglon: "I'm honored to be taking over a century-old company like Aiglon. It's a company with a unique positioning, with talented and committed teams. I'm looking forward to building, with them and our partners, the next stages of this great industrial adventure."
A renewed ambition for the Group
Driven by this new dynamic, the project aims to :
- strengthen Aiglon's position as an independent leader in pharmaceutical and cosmetic ingredients;
- accelerate the development of natural, differentiating solutions, drawing on the Group's longstanding expertise;
- continue to invest in production facilities to meet the highest standards of quality, traceability and performance;
- pursue international expansion to better support customers worldwide;
- preserve and promote a corporate culture based on commitment, proximity and innovation.
Trajan Capital, a partner in this transfer, is recognized for its human and entrepreneurial approach to investment. A partner member of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity, an independent family group founded in 1953, Trajan shares with Aiglon the same high industrial standards, a commitment to local roots and a desire to take concrete action for a responsible economy.
Grégoire Huet, HEC, a graduate of ESME Sudria, is an entrepreneur who has held various marketing positions at Nestlé, and management positions in the cosmetics and health sectors at ANJAC Health & Beauty. Most recently, he took over and successfully managed Pascual, an ANJAC Group industrial SME.
